'Eat well, feel good, look great' is the slogan chosen for the Healthy Living seminar being hosted by Prime Ltd on Friday 30th September at the Oratory in Naxxar. This is the third such activity organised by James Muscat in a period of ten months. The last seminar, held in April and titled 'Healthy Eating', was attended by over two hundred participants from different walks of life.
A good number of speakers including health professionals, nutritionists and specialists from the culinary sector will address the audience at this event which is expected to attract a turnout of over 300. Representatives from selected philanthropic associations including the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, the Transplant Support Group and the National Blood Transfusion Service will also be participating.
Topics to be dealt with during this seminar include major health issues related to obesity, diabetes, ageing, weight control and the importance of a well balanced diet. One of the speakers, Dr Peter Muscat, will focus on eating disorders while his brother James will share his experience as a living kidney donor and will highlight the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
Participants will be offered a number of vouchers and will also have the opportunity to win prizes courtesy of Prime Meat Shops and GS superstore while Klinika San Guzepp will offer free blood glucose monitoring. Other sponsors include Provita, Heaven Beauty Clinic & Day Spa and Vascas.
